Personally, I don't think adding purple will make it more winter. These colors aren't winter colors. What will make it winter is what we use to decorate. Also if we emphasis the teal and use orange as an accent I think it will be more wintery. Just make sure you choose colors that you like. Don't just choose colors because you thought a picture from the internet looked nice. You will have your wedding pictures for the rest of your life, so make sure the colors are ones you really do want. The best way to choose is to think about what you would like, without anyone else's opinion (that includes Gregs). Sometimes other people's opinion can change your mind from what you really want, and you don't realize until it's all over. Let us know what you want to do.
Just wanted to let you know, I showed mother and she is excited to participate in this blog. She said using a more rusty orange would work to make the ambiance more part of the season. something to think about.... :)
